The City of High Springs is no longer under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice that was caused from flooding from Hurricane Irma. The Observer ran an article by Ron Trygar, which outlines the city’s water system.
The City of High Springs has received grant funding from Suwanee River Water Management District to connect approximately 300 homes, (gravity not grinder pumps) in a portion of Phase 5 of the original wastewater project. These connections will help in our goal to protect our aquifer.
The debris from Hurricane Irma will be picked up by Alachua County.
