The Florida Department of Transportation will be resurfacing US Highway 27 and US 41 (see map on other side) through High Springs beginning February 16, 2017. Construction is scheduled to run through July 2017. All construction will be held in the evening and overnight. There will be temporary lane closures. FDOT is committed to causing the least amount of disruption possible.
FDOT will be onsite for a public information meeting on Monday, February 13 from 4pm – 6pm. The meeting will be held at the corner of SE Railroad Avenue and US Highway 27 next to the Christmas Tree. FDOT will have project managers onsite to answer any of your questions. Also, feel free to contact the City Manager’s office or the CRA office for more information throughout construction.
During construction, the City of High Springs will post up-to-date information on the City’s website. The website is www.highsprings.us.
