The Plan Board serves as the starting point for development plans and changes in our city. They approve, deny, or modify plans and then pass them along to the commission. Members of the Plan Board also serve as members of the Historic Preservation Board. The two boards are typically administered in sequential meetings. The Historic Preservation Board administers enforcement of historic codes within the defined historic district. They are charged with the reasonable enforcement of these codes to maintain a continuous development within the historic district.
