Welcome to the High Springs Police Department’s web page. Through this interactive site, it is our intent to bring you the most accurate information in order to educate you on the issues occurring in our community, as well as to tell you a little about your police department. The High Springs Police Department (HSPD) has a proud history of service to the High Springs community dating back to 1892. We are a full service police department offering a wide variety of services that are provided to you by full-time, part-time and reserve police officers, and an administrative assistant/evidence manager.
The foundation of any police department must contain an active crime watch program. Whether it is a residential or commercial crime watch group, we need your eyes and ears to tell us what is happening in our community so we may unite as one and make our streets safer and our homes secure. In order to accomplish this, please follow the links provided and start a residential or commercial crime watch group in your neighborhood or business community today. Please report ALL suspicious activity to the HSPD. This can be done by dialing 9-1-1, or (386) 454-1415. Citizens can also remain anonymous and report crimes or important information to Crime Stoppers by dialing (352) 372-7867(STOP). Callers can receive up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
It is my sincere honor and privilege to serve as your chief of police. If I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me at 386-454-7318, or jsholley@highspringspd.com. Together we can and will make a difference!
Sincerely,
Chief James "Steve" Holley
