WATER REPORT

As of Saturday 4:30, all test on the City's water have shown all levels to be within "normal" range.
The Public Works department will continue to monitor the Water Supply. Residents located outside of the City limits should contact the County. Residents using well water will notice a discoloration due to the unusually high water table which may produce "tannin".

Tannin Any of a group of water soluble, natural organic phenolic compounds that are produced by metabolism in trees and plants, and are part of the degredation-resistant fulvic acid materials formed during the decomposition of vegetation. Tannins occur in water in almost any location where large quantities of vegetation have decayed. Tannins can impart a faintly yellowish to brown color to water.
